Meet our teachers

Mercedes Moresco
Argentina
Mercedes is the School Program Director. She holds a master Degree in Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a second language and a BA in Education and World Literature. She founded Educando a America in 2004.

Astrid Maya
Colombia
Astrid has an Elementary Teaching Degree from Colombia. She joined Educando a America in 2005 and since then she has been educating students to speak, write and read in Spanish. She also holds a BA Degree in Business Administration from FNU.

Angela Alvarez
Colombia
Angela holds an Elementary teaching Degree from Colombia with vast experienced working with children 6 to 9 years old. She conducts the aftercare program of Educando a America since 2017. She has been teaching at the school since 2013.

Silvina Moreno
Argentina
Silvina is Educando a America´s Preschool Program Director. She has a degree in Preschool Education from Argentina. She works for Educando a America since 2004.

Silvia Vazquez
Argentina
Silvia has been working at Educando a America since 2004. She holds a Degree in Law from Argentina. She has been teaching Spanish as a second language to children and adults since 2008. She is actually teaching groups and private classes in Weston, Fl.

Verónica Carbajal
Mexico
Verónica has a degree in Law from UNAM. She has been attending Educando a América training courses for teachers of Spanish as a second language (ELE). She is actually teaching private classes at our program Merge into Spanish.

Marisel Flores
Chile
Marisel is a K-12 teacher in Chile. She has received training in teaching Spanish as a second language participating in Educando a America´s workshops. She worked at Summer Camp 2018 and teaches in our Merge into Spanish program.
